More information

What's Included

Designed to maintain dimension with minimal time in the chair.

  • Personal consultation to map your maintenance plan.
  • Precision refresh: partial foils or babylights targeted to regrowth and areas that need lift.
  • Face-framing pieces around the hairline to brighten and define.
  • Toner or gloss to perfect shade, add shine and control brassiness.
  • Root tap or soft melt to blur lines and encourage a softer grow-out.
  • Bond care and protective application to respect hair health.
  • Finish and style to check tone, placement and balance.
  • At-home routine and rebooking guidance tailored to your goals.

Who It's For

Ideal if your highlights have grown out and you want to keep your colour clean, dimensional and manageable without a full head appointment. It suits a natural, low-maintenance aesthetic and a refined, professional finish.

Also right for events when you want your hairline brighter or your complexion lifted, or if you are exploring a subtle change before committing to more. Not suited to dramatic lightening or complex correction; book a colour consultation for that and we will plan the safest route.

Duration & Appointment Timing

Appointments typically run 45 to 120 minutes, depending on hair length, thickness and the level of refresh. A hairline-focused face frame can take 45 to 75 minutes, while a maintenance refresh with more foils can be 90 to 120 minutes.

Please arrive with clean, dry hair so we can assess tone accurately. New colour clients, or anyone making a significant formula change, may need a quick skin test at least 48 hours beforehand.

Aftercare & Maintenance

Use colour-safe shampoo and conditioner, plus a weekly moisturising mask. Always apply heat protection and minimise high heat to maintain strength and shine.

To keep blondes bright, use a violet shampoo sparingly once a week as advised. Book a gloss or toner between visits if your shade starts to shift, and plan face-framing every 6 to 8 weeks with a highlights refresh every 8 to 12 weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I book this service?
Most clients refresh the face frame every 6 to 8 weeks and their highlights every 8 to 12 weeks. A toner or gloss between visits keeps the shade balanced and glossy.
How is this different from a full head of highlights?
It is a targeted refresh that focuses on regrowth, the hairline and tone, not a complete overhaul. Fewer foils and faster placement maintain your look with a soft grow-out.
Will it suit my hair type and colour?
Yes. The technique adapts to fine, medium or thick hair, straight or curly. Very dark bases or resistant greys may need staged lightening across visits for the best condition.
Will this damage my hair?
We use controlled lift, careful placement and bond care to protect strength and shine. Following the recommended aftercare will help colour last longer and hair feel smooth.
Do I need a skin test before colouring?
New colour clients, or anyone changing brand or shade family, will need a quick skin test at least 48 hours before. It ensures safety and avoids delays on the day.
