If you want a softly lived-in effect with more root contrast, balayage may suit you better. For maximum coverage and lift throughout, full head highlights are the right choice.
Duration & Appointment Timing
Allow around 60 to 90 minutes, depending on hair length, density and the finish you want. Thick or long hair, previous colour, or added blending such as a root shadow can extend timing. If you maintain regularly, future visits may be quicker.
Aftercare & Maintenance
Use a colour-safe shampoo and conditioner, plus heat protection when styling. Hydrate weekly with a mask to keep the cuticle smooth and reflective.
Plan maintenance every 8 to 12 weeks for regrowth. A gloss or toner at 4 to 6 weeks keeps tone balanced between highlight appointments. In between, a face frame or parting refresh can lift your look without a full service.
