If you want a very light, uniform blonde in one visit, classic foils or a staged lightening plan may be better. You will receive guidance on the safest route for your goals.

Duration & Appointment Timing

A standard appointment is 60 minutes, covering consultation, application, gloss and finish. Long or thick hair, or a significant shade shift, may require additional time or a phased approach.

If you are adding a haircut, allow extra time. A skin test may be required before glossing for new clients.

Aftercare & Maintenance

Wait 48 hours before your first wash to let the gloss settle. Use colour-safe shampoo and conditioner, and always apply heat protection before styling.

Top up shine and tone with a gloss every 6 to 8 weeks. A full balayage refresh is typically 12 to 16 weeks, with root tints for grey coverage as needed.

Nourish weekly with a mask, limit hot tools and rinse after swimming. For cool blondes, use purple or blue shampoo sparingly to maintain tone without dullness.
