More information

What's Included

A focused, step-by-step service designed for reliable results.

  • In-depth consultation and hair history review.
  • Shade mapping and strand testing to confirm what is achievable today.
  • Gentle removal or controlled lightening where required.
  • Pigment rebuilding and neutralising to restore believable tone.
  • Root balancing or blending to soften regrowth.
  • Bond care and strength treatments during processing.
  • Precision placement for natural dimension.
  • Professional finish and style to check tone in different light.
  • Personal aftercare plan and a clear maintenance schedule.

Who It's For

Perfect if you are dealing with banding, brassiness, patchy highlights, over-bleached lengths with darker roots, or a too-dark at-home dye. It also suits anyone who wants to refine previous balayage, cancel unwanted warmth, or restore a natural-looking base before going lighter in future.

You prefer polished, low-maintenance colour and put hair health first. You want clear guidance, realistic timelines and results that look elegant in the office and effortless at the weekend.

Duration & Appointment Timing

Most targeted corrections take around 120 minutes. Complex changes, especially when lifting dark or box-dyed hair, can take 3 to 4 hours or be phased across visits.

We may ask for recent photos and a full colour history, or suggest a short consultation, so we can plan timings accurately. Allow time for drying and refining so we can check tone in different light.

Aftercare & Maintenance

To keep your new tone true, use a gentle, sulphate-free routine, heat protection and a weekly bond-building mask. Rinse with cooler water and limit chlorine exposure.

Most clients benefit from a gloss or toner refresh every 6 to 8 weeks to maintain clarity and shine. If we have gone lighter in stages, we will map the next step and book it to suit your diary.

Follow the product advice we give. Avoid overusing purple or blue shampoo, which can dull the result. Consistent care protects colour and keeps hair feeling strong.

Frequently Asked Questions

What problems does colour correction fix?
It targets banding, brassiness, patchy highlights, box-dye build-up, unwanted warmth or green tones, and ends that are too dark or over-lightened. We assess your hair history and plan the safest, most effective route back to an even, flattering shade.
Will it take more than one visit?
Some issues can be largely resolved in one 120-minute session. Bigger changes, especially lifting dark or layered box dye, are safer as a phased plan. We set clear expectations and timings after consultation and strand testing.
How do you protect my hair during the process?
We use controlled processing, bond care and targeted treatments, and we rebuild pigment instead of over-lightening where needed. We monitor the hair throughout and stop if integrity could be compromised.
Can you correct box dye?
Yes. We usually start with gentle removal, then lighten or neutralise selectively before rebuilding balanced tone. It may take time, but the priority is an even result and healthy hair.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Bring a full colour history and inspiration photos. Arrive with dry hair and minimal product, and avoid new box dyes, henna or metallic salts before your visit. Build in a little extra time in case your plan needs refining.
